Presentation about the proposal

This is my presentation about the final project, it was about the use of hot potatoes and wikis.

My rubric is about the use of hot potatoes or a web blog: They will find what skill they need to improve, and then they will choose a tool which can be blogger or hot potatoes. They will show and explain how they can improve their English skills with interactive games or a web blog based in the skill that they need to improve with videos, audios, etc.

I have learned many things in clases. Before that, I had never used wikis, glogster, prezi, blogger, etc. Prezi and glogster were the newest thing for me because i hadn't seen or done presentations like those, glogster was fun to use because it has many tools that we can use, so that we can make beautiful presentations with it. Blogger and wikis weren't new for me because i had visited many blogs but i hadn't created or used one. However, i think that blogger is the best tool because we can attached videos, prezi presentations, wikis,glogsters, etc. and is very easy to use it. In contrast with wikis, blogger has more tools and is easier to use. Wikis are a little more complicated to create and is difficult to share our works with others. However, all the tools that we have learned are useful and it will help me to much as a future teacher, because i can use glogster in one class, do prezi presentations in other class, send homeworks and feedback with blogger etc. so that i can make more interesting my classes without using the same tool every day.

This is my first wiki and it was a little difficult to use it. However, it is intresting to learn how to use it and explore its different tools. This presentation was about wikis, how we can use it in classes, what is a wiki, how to create a wiki and what i think about wikis.

Weblogs in education ESL/EFL

Weblogs are useful tools since its creation and its principal porpuse was as a tool of expresing everything you want or you are thinking. Weblogs can be personal, for business, thematic, fotoblog, audioblog, and the newest Cell Phone blogs. In an academic way we can use blogs as a tool of feedback, giving and receiving works, tutorials, portfolios, evidences by using pictures, videos, PDFs etc. Students can use weblogs to show what they have done in class, also they can use it to give homeworks and create portfolios. It will help the teacher to qualify his students in a easier way. We can use tutorial in a blog because we can show or teach whatever we want step by step and also by videoblogs showing how to do something. Also we can use discusion because many people can talk about the same topic in a blog or add something to his or her classmate work.
